Turbo Kenevo Export motor failure

Hi, I just came back from a long and very hot ride on my kenevo export. Towards the end my motor started to make screaming noises and "flipped out" leaving me to pedal this heavy monster up a brutal climb with no support and back home. When I launched the app, the app said "healthy" which is clearly was. Has any of you encountered this before?

You should have bought the "Expert" and not the "Export" - the export model is renown for having lower quality parts on it.

Kenevo's are painful ride uphill without assistance. It's worth doing a short ride once in a while to remind yourself.

Most likely the belt has stripped. It can happen. Depending on what version you have ? 1.3 (2018/2019 Kenevo Expert - x-wing frame) or 2.1 (2020 Kenevo Expert) The belt was upgraded on the 2.1 at one point.

Unfortunately, you'll need to take it to a specialized dealer for a motor swap.

Thanks. Its the 2020 model and so far it has been great (5 months) even uphills. Except today..in 30C heat...Will take it to the dealer..
