Removed a Mitchelin E Wild 2.6 to fit an Eddy Current and was most curious to find what looked like aluminium flakes all over the rim tape.
The sealant was Orange Enduro and I wonder if the flakes are a constituent of the liquid which incidentally had dried out. No obvious chafing or wear on the rim.
Any suggestions welcome.

People have been known to throw glitter in to block up holes.

I have no experience of Orange Enduro sealant, but it would not surprise me in the slightest if those flakes were part of the sealing process. They block the hole so that the sealant can do its job on bigger holes than usual.
