Post your bug reports here

@Roman you are very welcome to collect them and show them to your developers at TQ.

Important: If there is a security related bug please contact Roman directly via personal message! Don't write any details here.

Include a title, which version you used (drive train and app) and short description how to reproduce the bug if possible.

Average motor power times duration doesn't add up to used battery.

Noticed in the app in a recorded ride.

Avg motor power 90.2W
Ride time 1:32h
Battery consumption 84%

If I calc approx. total used wh 90W * 1.5h = 135wh

We have approx 360wh Battery

So 135wh/360wh*100% = 37.5% which is far off from 84%.

So either one of the numbers avg power or used battery is wrong or the efficiency of the drive train is really bad.

Saw this in a FB group its not my data. But the rider couldn't explain the difference also. Sounded as if he was riding 1.5h and used 84% battery. So my guess is that avg power is wrong.

Was just thinking the other day...

@Roman maybe your developers used median instead of average for the calculation of avg. power🤷‍♂️. A typical ride may have some spikes in power for the ascends (e.g. 402W in the example above) but most of the tracked power values should be far lower than those peaks. So median in general should be lower than average for this type of data. Median gets even lower if you also track all the 0W values where the motor doesn't support at all.
