Hi all,
A friend of mine has ordered the new Cube Stereo 140 with the Carbon frame and has purchased a twin children’s buggy to tow behind him . I believe the buggy is clamped to the seat post in some way. Another friend told me today that he read somewhere that Carbon frames are not designed to be stressed in this way and could possibly crack and the warranty would not cover this eventuality. Could I please ask if anyone knows if this true.
Thank you.

I doubt Cube says anywhere the bike is designed for towing anything, I could be wrong, in which case I very much doubt consequential damage will be covered by warranty.

Looks like his 2020 Cube Stereo 140 is built to pull a child’s buggy then. He has purchased rear axel extenders that will allow a professional fit of the clamps to the rear triangle so it all looks positive. I have warned him his suspension bearings will take a beating but he seems happy with that as he stated he won’t be hammering it whilst towing the kids about, just some gentle fun on flat terrain.
Thank you Kilham5 for posting that info, it has proved very useful!
