Towing and motor wear.

Hey team,

Is there any evidence that towing people will wear the motor out sooner or damage the motor in some way??

I read somewhere that excess strain on the system could possibly maybe be misconstrued as derestricting by some manufacturers diagnostics software and possibly casue problems somewhere along the line with that because they might think you've been tampering with the bike. Whether that's true or not I have no idea but maybe worth looking into a little if for no other reason that to rule it out if you intend on doing some towing.

It hadn't even thought of that. But also adds another question. Will towing people void warrantees?
