Thule Velocompact 925 don`t reach bar on new eMTB

hello

I need help/advice,
my new eMTB Genesis 1.2 is a little taller than old MTB so on my Thule velocompact short clamp don`t reach top bar of eMTB. the other longer clamp (for 2nd bike) is too long . The only way I could manage this shorter clamp to reach eMTB is tube below seat but I find this unsafe and not quite sturdy for longer drive on bumpa road. I`d rather fix clamp more to the front of the bike - any suggestion?

Had similar with my old Thule xt2 rack. Used the fiamma bike block pro d2 (fit onto the tubing for the Thule xt2 rack) and you can adjust it for reach etc. I used the thule clamp on the tube below the seat then added the fiamma clamp to hold onto the top tube.
