I have read the previous threads on tyres but want to drill down with some slecific user feedback please.
What has to end? This long dry summer.
I ride my19 Levo Comp mostly on natural forest trails with often tight techy but fairly short downhill runs. Occasionally also trail centre red grade trails which is the only time I would encounter rock gardens in shkrt sections. So grkund conditions are mostly sandy/gritty with typical forest loam, leaf mould and tree routes.
I have running Specialized Illiminators Grid front and back in 2.3 throughout the summer and find they deal with the dry conditions really well...certainly far better than the 2.6 Butchers Grid.
I am now thinking about wetter conditions to come and what tyres to buy.
I am considering the Mitchelin E Wild Gumx 2.6.
Any feedback on them for my riding conditions?
