I have read the previous threads on tyres but want to drill down with some slecific user feedback please.
What has to end? This long dry summer.
I ride my19 Levo Comp mostly on natural forest trails with often tight techy but fairly short downhill runs. Occasionally also trail centre red grade trails which is the only time I would encounter rock gardens in shkrt sections. So grkund conditions are mostly sandy/gritty with typical forest loam, leaf mould and tree routes.
I have running Specialized Illiminators Grid front and back in 2.3 throughout the summer and find they deal with the dry conditions really well...certainly far better than the 2.6 Butchers Grid.
I am now thinking about wetter conditions to come and what tyres to buy.
I am considering the Mitchelin E Wild Gumx 2.6.
Any feedback on them for my riding conditions?

Me and my friend ride similar sounding stuff to you. We've tried various tyres and pressures over the last year and a half. Butchers, high rollers, eddie current, shorty. Currently on an E Wild rear 2.6 and Wild Enduro 2.4 front. Both seem to prefer narrower tyres over the 2.8s they came with, running mid/high 20's pressure
