Things to look out on a demo?

I've decided to demo a YT Decoy MX Core 3 to try out as my first emtb, just wanting to know if anyone has any advice or pointers for someone new to ebikes?

Following Rob's video and some previous advice I found on here I've gone with an XL (~86kg, 180cm). Going to head to Surrey Hills (UK) for the day (20th if anyone wants to join!) but still unsure on which trails yet.

Cheers in advance, Ollie

If it's somewhere you haven't ridden before, riding at least some of it on a bike you know will give you a clearer comparison. If you can demo a couple of different models, that will again highlight differences. Make sure you ride the types of terrain that you are most hoping for improvement on and that replicate at least some of your regular riding, but maybe a wee bit steeper/ more technical (up and down). Take a grin-o-meter.
This helped me decide that a lighter more engaging bike was better for me. So many good bikes out there now, it's a decent commitment so worth trying a few. IMHO

As above, Ideally you want to ride somewhere you know fairly well so you can get a proper feel for the bike

This way you give it a proper demo and not ride not knowing what is coming up
