Purchased my bike here in Austria and am moving back to America this summer. Has anyone heard of the owner being able to do the US version firmware update for the speed restriction? I believe that the dealer is the only one who can do the "force" option. Appreciate any info and am glad to be a member here.

I think it's a dealer only change.

However, with the new OTA firmware updates, it might be possible to Spesh to send down a serial number specific configuration change, if you can prove your location ... Maybe ... Probably easier to just go and make contact with your dealer though ...
