Hi ,

Its deal season it seems and my lbs has some rather good deal on some e-mtb...

Being 6'7'' 8ish, I'm very limited in term of choice. XXL frame size

Since its release the Transition Relay has been on my list but the Fazua reliability and 400watts/60nm seems to be holding me back , being 225lbs I have no idea if the Fazua could keep up...

My lbs has a deal on Santa Cruz Bullit builds and the base one is pretty much the same price as the Relay I'm also looking at...

They're clearly not the same one being light emtb and the other being full power but still I'm torn between the two...

So I'm looking for advices and your thoughts on that dilemma ...

Thanks.

I’m familiar with the Transition Relay, Rail 7, Santa Cruz (anolog), Fuel EXE 8, and the Rail 9.7.

My son-in-law recently purchased the Transition Relay Fauza XL and sold the Rail 7. His age (31) and riding style suits a light weight eMTB.

His new Transition is noticeably heavier than my Fuel EXE 8 …but not by much. He still wanted a capable eMTB but the Rail 7 was overkill for him. The Transition Relay was exactly what he needed.

The guy who purchased the Rail 7 (used) loves this bike. He also rides an anolog, but the Rail 7 gives him different options (altitude and time).

The Fuel EXE 8 with the TQ motor is suitable for me. (I’m 165lbs). If I was taller and heavier I would consider a Transition Relay as my “only” eMTB.
