Swapping shock back to front to fit a larger water bottle ?

Hi
Has anyone tried swapping the shock back to front to fit a larger water bottle ?

You wil have to have the adjustment on the side but it should be protected from the side arm ? and if it does not fit then mount I the other way ?

I keep switching the lock lever on every time I take my bottle out. (hence the idea )

i did that on my 2018 levo with a piggyback shock and it worked fine, tried it on the 2019 levo and it wasnt so good, narrower q factor I think, but if your shock is an in-line shock it will be fine

I made a custom water bottle mount to fit a larger bottle on my Kenevo

I used some rack parts and spacers to make it fit. This was the only picture I took of this setup. I ended up changing the shock the very next day and removed the water bottle cage entirely.

Fit a dual bottle holder? B-RAD Double Bottle Adapter Fitted one to my 2017 Levo, clears the standard cranks and makes it very easy to access the bottle.
