Swapping batteries and warranty coverage?

I have two bosch emtbs and the 500wh powertubes are easily swappable. The older has six months warranty left and I just bought a new one.
Can I use the "old" battery that is still under warranty with the new bike and "save" my "new" battery in order to extend the total warranty window?
At this point the older bike is just a backup so will use sparingly, but want to get use out of the old battery in new bike while it's still covered.
Sorry if what I'm writing makes little sense and thank you very much for any advice!

Yes.

No. The warranty starts at point of purchase, not first use.

You can use the old battery to save the newer one but it won't extend any warranty.
