Suntour NCX Suspension Seat Post

Think of putting a suspension seat post on my hardtail Cube Reaction.

Are they much good? / worthwhile?

I know they won't turn the bike into a FS but will the take some of the shock out if the trails - anyone have any real life experience?

I've used an NCX, still got it sitting in the shed in fact. They deffo take some of the spine crunching jolts out of off road stuff. I quite liked it but happened to come across a full sus frame not long after I bought it so didn't end up using it for long. Quite heavy though, if thats your thing.

If you can, go for the thudbuster. Yes, they are more expensive but the difference is like night and day.
