My mate wants me to get his e8000 bike to 20mph.
I assume it's got the latest software so would stunlocker work without downgrading it?
Although I have the pce1 box I don't have a computer now, just tablet and not sure if it'd connect.
Answers on a postcard to the usual Doyle.

I think, but I'm not 100% sure as I've not really been keeping track of it..

I think it works with upto 4.7 - but not 4.8 or 4.9 .... though part of me thought I'd seen that fixed somewhere too (but could be imagining that part and getting lost in version numbers) - I did have a beer earlier .. what day is it anyway ?

Umday, I think but don't hold me to that..
This says 'Market setting 4.8.0, Top speed adjustment 4.3.2'
I'm assuming market setting is country which is all he needs, USA 20mph

Nah...
Switched to US region and wheel circumference altered (true circumference*0.621) to give assistance up to 32mph
By doing it this way if I still had a display switching ti to display kmh would showing true mph value.
I don't have a display though.
If using my garmin the circumference setting messes up Ebike speed metrics but I have a wireless garmin speed sensor on the hub that sorts that out

Only issue I've ever had with STunlocker is having to buy the license for each new motor every time my motor dies and is warrantied

My original Peartune from 3 years back still works BTW. But it won't work with 4.7 firmware

What rear wheel and tyre size are you using like?
27.5x2.0 tyres have a circumference of 2152mm
2152x 0.621 = 1336

You've got your sums wrong somewhere then.
27.5x2.4 is around 2217
So you want 1321

Ah thought barber tryna build dis..
