Delete the Shimano E-Tube app from your phone, then re install it.
Re-register your bike on the app.
The app will tell you it has a FW update for the motor.
Carry out the update and you will be back to the latest Shimano FW.

Note that if you altered the origin country or wheel circumference while on Stunlocker, these settings will remain when you re install the Shimano FW.

I always thought that updating to the latest firmware, using E-Tube, cancelled out any changes made using Stunlocker and prevented any future changes to country of origin.

Have I misunderstood or Is it the procedure of actually deleting the E-Tube app and then re-installing it that avoids this issue?

ln order to use Stunlocker to change the wheel circumference and country you need to have the earlier software installed, and it's possible to do this if yours has the later (4.9) which was introduced in October 2020.

lf you then decide to re install the latest Shimano software these adjustments will no longer be possible on the Stunlocker app.

Although the app will still work for setting power levels etc.

lnstalling the latest Shimano software won't cancel or reset these adjustments, so if you'd told the motor it was in the USA and the bike has 26" wheels then those settings will remain.

All l did was to set my wheel circumference to the actual value, which has made my speedometer more accurate and the bike a bit faster. (lt was set at 2450mm when the actual value was 2350mm)

I re installed the latest Shimano software because l was worried about the older software being somehow not as good, but in the event there was little point, it didn't change anything with regards to motor running or torque etc.
