Hi All,
So after spending countless hours looking at YouTube videos and scouring the local ads and EBay I finally took the plunge and bought into this Ebike lark and I must say straight away I love it!
I toyed with the idea of buying either a hard tail mtb or Hybrid style bike and fitting my own motor system and battery on it ( BBSHD) but after spending hours on EBay looking for a suitable bike to build up then factoring the costs together it wasn't any cheaper than buying a "Proper" one.
So when a Specialized Levo Turbo Fattie6 HT popped up 20 minutes away from me I had to go and take a look, After parting with £1500 I am now the proud owner of Said bike and I love it.
The wife says it's an "old man's bike" lol and thinks it drives itself with me just hanging on but the truth is you still have to work hard if you want to go fast.
Although I'm 48 this year I do have a FS Canyon mtb and a carbon road bike so I don't mind putting the leg power in to get the speed up but I have found with the gearing on this bike I'm spinning out in the smallest cog at the back on the flats so I was wondering if I can alter the gearing for more top end?
Still trying to get my head around the settings on the mission control app but I'm sure it will come to me soon.
