It seems as though you need the whole group set for this set up as the cassette, chainring and chain are different.

Does anyone know if there Is there any reason why you can’t still use the 155mm Hope cranks?

You could if you fit a T type chainring.

On an ebike the cranks are pretty much independent of the chainring, so as above you just need the right chainring.

Highly uninformed guess: most likely the system works flawlessly with any 12s retainer chainring. The chain obviously doesn't need to shift at the front, so despite their marketing speech there isn't any reason for a proprietary chainring.
