Specialized just announced a new open face helmet. The helmet is certified for a higher E-bike safety standard, NTA8776, mandated in the Netherlands....what ever it means.

It looks like the guys is wearing one helmet on top of the other. It does look quite an impressive piece of kit if you can get around the front styling.

Lol. Its funny. I still use my Specialized helmet (forget the model).
They do make good gear which lasts so if I need a new lid, I'll look into it.

I don't get why that helmet would be anymore safe than non e-bike certified MIPS (or similar) helmets, surely if its that good then all helmets regardless of ebike or not should follow suit. Sounds like a marketing gimmick to me.

Yes it may be good on tests but head + rock + helmet combination of impact has no significance in regards to the bike you have just dismounted.
