Spectral:On AL 6.0 - computer spec

Has any one got one of the latest/last Spectral:On AL 6.0? My question is this - what computer have you got on it? Mine has got the SC-E7000 computer on it. My mate has an ON AL 6.0 from a year or so ago has the E8000 computer on it so I'm disappointed in the apparent downgrade on my bike. As well as the apparent fault (no power to motor) that I have in my other post! All in all a bit disappointed so far after spending so much money.

I hope you sort the problem out pal,as far as I've read many people prefer the 7000 computer to the 8000.
If it's any consolation I bought a spectral last December that had a squeek from the motor. I decided to get a refund and canyon fetched the bike and refunded me without question.
I've spent the last 6 months basically searching for a new ebike locally but haven't been able to find anything anywhere near as good as the spectral for the money, so despite saying I wouldn't buy direct again my new spectral should arrive this week ?.

Hi Lexinoo, thanks for your reply. It's a relief to know that the reason they put the 7000 on is because most people prefer it. My mate with the 2018 model and the 8000 computer on said he thought the same. He also echoed what you have said about value for money, and helped me get my bike running today which wasn't ride ready despite Canyon's claims. I hope you enjoy your new Spectral when it arrives - which one did you go for?

The E7000 display is much better for pairing with Garmin Edge devices. You won‘t get much information from a E8000 display.

Yup I wouldn't view the e7000 as a downgrade.
