Last night my 650b Fattie wheels arrived for my 2020 turbo Levo ...

I like the change wheels depending on which trails I am riding, and I was rather perplexed and disappointed that I couldn't change the wheels size on the app ?
The previous app allowed me to change wheel sizes on my 2018 Levo.

I am not going to go to the store and get them to change it for me every time I want to swap wheels ?

Why can't I change from 29 to 650b-Fat in the comfort of my home ?

I guess because with changing the wheel circumference you can manipulate with top speed ...

I suspect Specialized would prefer higher speed limits off-road like the newly increased 28 mph limit in some places in the US. Vado SL does 28 mph as well as the Gogoro Eeyo 1S. The ridiculous universal Euro 25 km/h off-road on-road limit is just senseless. Europe, UK Australia, Japan etc should come to their senses & realise that the higher 28 mph / 45 km/h limit with safety equipment & precautions is fine and the sky won't fall in.

Given the likely dramatically lower densities now possible on public transport, we need to move more people around cities safely.

You never know - it'd be ironic if the one & only Brexit benefit is if the UK with bike superhighways becomes the beacon of fast commuter biking freedom in Europe and beyond - and the rest follows.

IMHO this will never happen, 25 vs 45km/h is huge difference, I think we can still be pretty happy as (for now) 25km/h ebikes are (mostly) treated equal to normal bikes ... And as long as you riding off-road on a private (or other dedicated) land there is already no resctriction what and how fast you're riding ...

Changing from 2255 to 2100 will give me maybe a extra 1km/h more ?...
I can get the shop to doit for me ...but its. omission to take the bike in every time I want to change wheels.

I think nowadays is allowed to change the wheel circumstance to 2000. Not under that and it gives you about 28 km per hour.

That's enough for trail riding.

Yes, you can reach about 29km/h with changing circumference to 2000mm, Spesh allows it without loosing the warranty, but this still doesn't mean you are completely within a law riding such bike ... It makes huge difference though
