So some of you may know Specialized UK decided last year not to bring in the 2020 S works frameset only option that Germany had (frame, motor,battery,TCU and associated wiring)
The ones in Germany sold out quick and there was demand for the frameset only option in the UK (me being one of those people)
I asked this question at the Specialized open day where they launched the Levo SL and was told this maybe something they will look into for 2021
For me a frame only option is what i really want as Specialized's spec is very poor for the money plus i like to build bikes to my spec not a manufacturers price point (the only original parts on my Levo is the frame etc.. and the groupset, everything else has been changed to what i like)
Anyway it seems Specialized in the USA are offering the S works frameset only option for $6000 (£4500) and Troy Lee Design frameset option for $7000 (£5250) both of which are not on the Specialized UK website
Ive got 3 years warranty left on my 2020 Levo's motor and when it comes to upgrade time i hope Specialized UK are doing frameset options as i might have to look at importing one
