For years I've had this little rubber strapped on rear light on the Kenevo which came free with a front light (long since broken)... It weighs nothing and somehow still works when you press the lens despite never changing the battery and it's never broken or fallen off despite the abuse.
I wanted something similar to stick on the other bikes which is always there on the bike and will just work on the off chance you need something so you're visible. I'm not talking about heading out for proper night rides where you want to re-create day light and melt trees.
Found these the other day in "Action" Not sure if they have them all over the world or not, but certainly there's a lot in Europe.
I was picking up some heat proof spray paint as it's only €3.99 a can and works well.
I suspect they're within the budget of most EMTB riders at a whopping €1.89 for a front and rear, including the 4 CR2032 cells which drive them :
They're not very exciting .. they have three modes .. off, eco and trail - certainly no EMTB, Turbo or BOOST !
The rubber straps seems substantial and stretchy enough. They're small, discrete and shouldn't move or rattle.
