I bought this late May 2020. It has covered 2300 trouble free kilometres and has plenty of superficial marks on the frame etc.
Its been cleaned after every ride and kept in a
heated shed.....I say heated shed as its a shed with a heater in it
You get about 40-45km a charge from the 500wh battery depending on how much assistance you request from the well respected Giant-designed Yamaha motor. Last Summer I managed a 50km ride using the lowest setting for 90% of the ride.
Its been ridden throughout the 2020/2021 winter, in 20 years mountain biking I have only managed a couple of winters previously as I hate the cold but this made riding in the extremely wet muddy UK conditions so much more fun.
It is a Large which I am in the sweet spot at 5ft 11.5ins and it weighs in at a hefty 25.5kg. This weight disappears when the motor is engaged.
It has Shimano XT groupset (brakes, gears etc). I replaced the Praxis front ring, Shimano rear cassette and KMC chain 400km-ish ago with the same as OEM kit it came with and replaced the rear derailleur last week. It is changing gears like new. It will come with pedals as pictured.
Comes with Schwalbe Eddy Current tubeless ebike-specific tyres (winter) and a set of Smart Sams I used in the Summer last year.
The charger charges to 60% in 90 minutes and the battery can be charged in or out of the bike. It has both keys for the battery to be removed.
I hasnt missed a beat and the battery is still at 99% health - see pic for details taken from the iPhone app which links to the bike.
