Soggy, wet bike!

Had a great ride this morning, cold, wet and fun!
Back to the garage, quick wash down to get rid of most of the mud.
Is there anything I should be doing to the chain and or motor after such a dowsing? (dowsing from the ride not the wash!)
Any recommendations for post ride maintenance? Any products you recommend?
Thanks

Minimum I do after similar is....
Wash down taking care not to get water into motor/ battery area.
Dry off with cloth
Dry chain and brush on WD40 or similar, this cleans and repels water, on the stand run it up and down the gears. ( lubrication will be done later)
Dry cloth, the bike again with WD40 / GTwhatever sprayed on shock, forks, controls etc, ( taking care not to contaminate brake discs.)
Remove battery, clean contacts.
That’s enough to keep it from corroding, deep clean and lube happens before next ride.
Hope this helps !
