Levo Gen 3 So Specialized,...

So Specialized sends me a email titled, "we made to many". In the email it explains how they made to many of certain models. One of the models is the Levo Comp Carbon, now discounted $2250US. That's the bike I just paid $9000 for. I was overjoyed,...not!

Now I hope some of you can take advantage of this. Now's the time to get a over-priced S bike for less. The Comp Alloy was also on sale plus a couple of others. I don't know what areas this is available in, you'll have to check.

Some credit cards will refund some amount if you find the same item for less in some period of time. I see the aluminum Levo SL is on sale, maybe others too.

Here the email I sent them.

Hello,

I bought a Turbo Levo Comp on August 5th. I love the bike! It does everything I want. Then yesterday I received a email from Specialized. The title was "we made too many". Several bikes and frames on sale, nice. The problem is that less then 2 months after my purchase my bike's on sale. Not $100 less, not $500 less but over $2000 less. I could take $100 or even $500 but $2000? Even though I was chomping at the bit to get one, I would have waited to save $2k. This is not alright Specialized. ☹️

Sincerely,

Paul

Can confirm the above ref the refund… Specialized rider care told me that online purchases made during the last 30 days will receive refund if/when requested for the bikes that are currently on sale. Bikes purchased in store will be at the discretion of the retailer. Flash sale goes on until 10 Oct 22 according to the rep I spoke with.

Jammy Ba£%ard, fair play, and fair play to the company, with any other purchase your on your own unless its within a week.
I've lost over 5k before on a new motorcycle purchase only to be told 2 months later there's a 5k discount  . I forget the amount of other non descript items that have been reduced a few weeks later after my purchase.

Unbelievable service (y)

Nice👍 I’ve had a few over the years.
Great to ride but always a frustrating issue which they never seem to bother fixing😀

Yep I can confirm. I bought a Levo Comp Alloy on Monday for $5550 plus tax here in NC. Normally $7500.

Still no sale on specialized.com in Europe :(. I only see 10% discounts from a local retailer, and they only added them today.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, 10% is better than nothing, but it is not enough for me to switch from the previous gen Levo.

I just bought a Levo comp at the discount, and a Creo a few months back at a similar discount. With regard to used prices this is a short term sale so it should not impact them too much. They will be back to normal prices till next oct probably.

Having just agreed to buy Turbo Levo Expert Carbon with the new TCU with the 700W battery 2.2 motor in Mullet form at £10k not sure what to think.

Yes I do have a KTM but that’s a thread for another day.

I've been with Specialized ebikes for five years now. The reason I stay with them is the warranty service from my LBS. If you ride a lot your gonna need a lot of motors and hubs. It seems to me that when they put a new motor in, the warranty on the motor starts over. That's contrary to st

Anyway, I paid $5800 for a 22' levo comp in August. Not sure if the price changed.
