Smallest Dropper for XS frame

Hey All,

Was hoping someone knows of a tiny dropper post that would work on my wife’s XS Liv Embolden. So far I tried a KS Eten 75mm and a TransX 50mm dropper, both stick way to far up. She’s only Like 5’ nothing with good shoes on, so she wants something small that allows the seat to be be put nice and low for downhill, and then back up for flats and climbs. We aren’t bicycle experts by any means and my local biccyle shop didn’t have anything else for me to try. If anyone knows other options, please let us know thanks!

Do you mean the dropper post won't insert deep enough into the Giant frame's curved seat tube?
If so, you'd need a frame with a straight uninterupted seat tube.

Yea, that kink towards the bottom really makes it hard. Here is a Photo of the 50mm dropper and how deep it barely goes.

no dropper has that short of a lower post as it needs to be deeper than the upper portion and also house the mechanism.

So I ordered the Divine SL, it is cuttable down to 285, minus 80mm dropper length, 205 total, should hopefully work. Looks tiny in the photos/vids.

Just curious if you were successful adding a dropper post to the xs embolden? I have one as well and really want to add a dropper post. Going to a different bike or different frame is not an option as others suggest given that like your wife I'm short and the Embolden xs is the only frame that fits my stubby legs!

Hey, Lisa.
You might want to look into the BikeYoke Divine, which allows you to add spacers to decrease travel. Start by looking at their web page and the dimensions of their products. Next step is to get out your tape measure and try to figure out what you need on your bike. After you've figured out all that you can, email Sacki, the owner of the company. He's a nice guy who is very helpful.

yup, the Divine SL cut to the shortest possible size worked. Just don’t slam it all the way down as it will kink the line. My local shop installed it and also said they used a thinner more flexible cable. The wife loves it!
