Hi all,
I'm trying to justify the extra dollars required for the S-works compared to the Expert, is the carbon frames the same,
my LBS told me the S-works is a higher grade but I can't seem to find any further information, also I can get a good discount on
S-works but not the Expert consequently I really thinking seriously of paying the extra dollars, what do you think??

Same “FACT11” Carbon lay up. Identical except aesthetics. And the COMP model is also the same frame construction, motor, and tube battery.

From Specialized site, the “FRAME” description for all 4 carbon models is identical:

“FACT 11m full carbon, 29 Trail Geometry, Integrated down tube battery, enclosed internal cable, Command Post routing, 148mm spacing, fully sealed cartridge bearings, 150mm of travel”

No alloy rear triangle on the non S-Works either. If you wanted to build your own bike that was lighter and more suited to you than the S-Works the Comp Carbon is the sweet spot to me not the Expert. A lot of places do 10% on accessories as part of a full price ebike. That would help build a better bike too.
