Silly question!

I heard a wee creak when pedaling under load and thought I'll use some juice lubes maintenance spray and just spray a little on the mounting bolts without taking the cover off. This seems to have fixed it and all bolts seem tight, but I was thinking on the non drive side would this spray have dripped onto the axel and would it destroy the grease? the spray isn't a degreaser or anything, just water displacer and lube.

Here's me now thinking I have wrecked the whole yoke as it's been sitting all night!
