Shipping my bike - HELP!

I want to use BikeFlights with the battery taken out so the bike ships as a regular bike would. Can I ship the battery separately through UPS or Fed Ex? I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this anywhere. I'm trying to keep the cost down and shipping a bike with the battery installed is difficult and expensive in my area. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hard to say. Depends on the region. Here in Oz it's HARDER to ship a battery separately than in the bike. I ordered an eGravel bike from the UK. Bike took a week. Spare battery took 4 months to find a shipping firm. With my eZesty they installed the battery in the bike (shipped from France to Oz separately) before shipping it to me.

p.s. Stackable 99.9WH batteries would fix this as we could carry a dozen of them in our hand luggage.
