Changing the brakes on the canyon strive on to the Shimano xt 4 pots from the db8 stock brakes and face the same annoying Shimano component compatibility issues. The xt lever clamps have a much smaller slot in the clamp and just like the front brake side needing a shifter mount adapter I'm now facing the exact same issue on the Shimano lever mounted (left side) mounting to the Shimano dropper post EV bracket and for the life of me I can't find a clear answer on what part will mate the two together
