I like to start the ride with a clean bike, I don't always manage it. (It might look clean though).

I have a proper 100% thorough clean every couple of months in the Winter. I remove the wheels , turn the bike upside down and do a proper job.

The only other time the bike gets a good clean is just before I sell it!
