I've been using ST Unlocker to monitor my battery health. Yesterday the battery was at 15% and 3 cycles and 100% health before I put it on the charger. I let it charge for an hour or so and disconnected the power. This morning I reconnected and let it charge until all the LEDs on the battery were solid (not blinking). The battery was at 100% but still showed 3 cycles. I reconnected the charger and left it until the leds on the battery and charger both went out. Battery still showed 100% and 3 cycles, and 100% health. This is weird and confusing. Does anyone have any insight on why it isn't showing 4 cycles? I have attached screenshots of the before/after ST Unlocker info screen. Cheers!

It's showing full cycles.
They're accumulative.
It'll trip over to 4 on its next big charge.
You're a right worrier aren't you? ?

So if you think of a charge cycle as when it's charged a full 100%

If it was at 50% and you charged it to full.

Then the next day it was 50% and you charged it to full. The two would add up to 1 charge cycle.

I did not know that.
I thought that it was switching it on to a charge that did the damage that eventually degrades the battery. Therefore ten half charges are twice as bad as five full charges.

If you're on lockdown and have plenty of time, try a google search on "charging cycles for lithium ion batteries".

Before you do, lay in a big stock of dried foods, bottled water and, of course, toilet paper...
