Shiamno 8000 screen shutting off

Hi I am a new member and iam having some problems with my E bike. Shimano 8000 pivot shuttle, I turn on the battery and then the screen goes on and off there is a loose connection will try to upload a video. The wire that runs to the motor is tough to get to. Looks like I may have to drop the motor on the pivot to plug in a new wire

I hope you already solved this, but usually it is better/easier to route that cable externally (motor - display) to verify if that is faulty. After that it makes more sense to drop the motor and replace the cable.

I had an intermittent fault when one of the wires had been slightly crushed when a new battery was installed.

I changed the di2 wire, works fine. Pain in ass to change though, need specialty tools
