Sensor magnet swap

Does anyone know if it’s possible to go to the valve rim magnet on a 2022 cube stereo hybrid 140 ,instead of the plastic magnet holder that sites in the rear rotor lock ring (mine got broken off by moorland heather leaving me stranded). I’m lead to believe there is a speed sensor located inside the Bosch motor running the smart system/kiox 300 which is on my bike.
Not looking to de-restrict bike just to eliminate potential breakdowns.
Any info would be appreciated before ordering any parts.

the Bosch Smart CX motor can work with either a rim magnet or the rotor mounted magnet.............needs LBS to set it up in the firmware though.
