GPS course tracking in Mission Control is batty. When reviewed, the course contains errors - some obvious - that do not follow the actual course ridden. For instance, yesterday's course has me riding through the Schuylkill River (no bridge at that point) as well as roads and paths I simply did not take. In first capture below, the outbound and inbound routes should be identical but it shows me crossing the river where there is no bridge. And the represented long, diagonal trail running from 7th and Laurel Streets doesn't exist, rather, the outbound and inbound loops on Neversink Mt. should be in very close proximity at S 9th St. and the West Valley Trail.

Any advice to correct this problem with GPS accuracy within Mission Control?

where is your phone kept on the ride? I really doubt it's a Mission Control app issue; more likely a gps tracking accuracy issue and hence mapping issue tat shows up in Mission Control.

To rule out Mission Control, do another similar ride and track in Strava too, and compare routes. If the same (even if screwy) it's not the MC app.

Most likely poor GPS coverage as app in your backpack or pocket or riding through dense woodland....

I’ve ridden three rides now using Strava for GPS tracking and it works perfectly. Anyone else having problems with GPS tracking in Mission Control?
