One of the damper seals on my Sam2 yari fork motion control damper failed in december
And oil filled the lower leg of then fork , hydrolocking it. On the ride I had tools and shock pump so was able to drain the oil And continue ride with no fork dampening.
Not sure it was the inner or outer seal on that’s the damper shaft goes through, at base of stanchion.
I couldn’t find anywhere selling just these two seals, just whole kit for £70
So decided to get a rockshox charger 2.1 rc2 damper, which the lyric uses
Fitted it but not ridden the bike yet
Anyone else fitted this damper, and what compression settings do you run at, on the LSC and HSC.
A mate with lyrics on clockwork bike suggests fully open for both, but ebike being heavier I wonder if it needs a bit of dampening
Already set the rebound dampening.
