Sam2 mullet configuration

What’s the deal with reconfiguring the drive system when you change the wheel size on the back to maintain the assistance cut off at 16 mph on the sam2? I did a Bosch course on the gen 2 system and the set up was specific to the manufacturer’s wheel size and cannot be changed. So it’ll be set up for a 29” wheel and based on the rpm of the wheel you’ll lose a bit of assistance speed when fitting a 27.5 and gain a little the other way around making it illegal by a small amount ?

Just been down this road on my Sam, the LBS offered me a free first service after 6 weeks and I had mulleted it and asked them to reconfigure the Bosch system to a 27.5 back wheel which they did no problem.
