Salt in the valley 😱

Now that Winter is fully on in the great white north the amount of salt used on the roads is deadly for my ride. Hoses are either frozen or not practical to use in the weather conditions. So what to do about the corrosion that is sure to come ? I had a great idea of chopping a hole in the lake but my bike froze from the icy dip and made a mess in the Igloo ! So now what ? Only the sledders can get way up into the mountains where I usually play, but without skis and a track I am banished to the lower levels where the salt does flow. What to do , what to do ? What do roadies do ?😎

I can’t find the pic that shows my bike spotted with salt al the way to the stem. I rode on the road for 10min. What a mess. Rinse and repeat. Thank goodness they didn’t salt the trails.

Use the sled tracks when conditions are just right.

Gotta love the winter gear.
