A few years ago I rented an emtb (before I owned one!) in the Swiss town of Zermatt. My plan for the day included seeing how close I could ride to the Matterhorn. The trail was still "officially" closed for the winter season, but this was late May and it was comfortably warm in town. And I encountered no barriers or warning signs. Or other people, which is part of why I didn't get as close as I originally planned.
I'm posting this because today I discovered several forgotten videos from my Swiss vacation. The one I linked to below is simply me doing a 360 degree view from one of the places I stopped for pictures. Sorry about the portrait format! At the time I thought it would work better for capturing the view.
