Had a crash on my Trek Rail and bent my dropper post. It became a good lesson to myself to ALWAYS slam that dropper all the way down before hitting enduro/jump-lines.

The seatpost is not carried as a spare part = Rockshox AXS dropper is now an expensive pice of junk.

Guess what I want to share is: remember to drop your seat all the way down before hitting jumps. I know I have learnt that lesson now.

When you say there not carried as a spare part? Do you mean you can’t get new internals? Seems strange, & a damned expensive waste if that is the case. Have you been in touch with SRAM to confirm?

I could find spare parts online, but not the actual seatpost. Just your ordinary service-parts.

Handed it to my LBS who in turn was in contact with the manufacturer. Turns out it in deed is a piece of waste now.

Honestly, for that price I would have expected I could repair it.
