Hi just a update on Rockgaurdz for Giant Trance sx e+ pro 0
Howard has been working on this for a number of weeks from rockgaurdz, I think they have done a fantastic job.
This week I recieved a production gaurd to protect the battery and motor..I should think these will go on sale very soon., here are a few pictures of my gaurd.
What do you think Guys?

Looks like it will keep the water and dust out of the battery motor interface and that's got to be a good thing. I like it.

Just how tough/rigid are these things? From the photos I've seen they look thin, and a rock strike to say the BB area would just transfer through the shock and crack the underlying motor casing. Are they more designed to prevent rocks which may flick up from damaging the underside rather than an accidental rock strike with something immovable?

We use similar carbon gaurds to prevent dings and damage to our pipes in motocross and offroad motorcycle riding. It's certainty tough, but its certainly not gonna make your cases indestructible either. For myself, the more appealing aspect is the weather proofing.

Yes, looks good. Was wondering where you were at w/the project.

How is it attached? Double sided tape & that Velcro strap?

Build some matching fenders and a cassette cover with solid mounts, package it all up for $300 and I'll order mine now.

I the gaurd just clips over the frame. As for the strap, it's just for security if you need it..
My main reason is to keep the mud and water out the lower part of the battery. And of course some protection...its very light and strong and flexible...its very well made.

Also they do carbon mudgaurds. General fit for most forks.

I like it. Have they ever tried or considered building a cassette derailleur cover?
