Hi everyone.
I have a 2019 Giant trance E1 pro which for some reason doesn't turn off after rides. I've found out that there was a dodgy batch of controls which weren't sealed properly. Does anyone know if the 2020 model controls will work with the 2019 bike? Just wondering. Thanks

I got a 2019 Trance SX E+0 Pro in March, and a few months later Giant sent my LBS an upgraded Ride One controller to replace mine, even though I had not had any trouble with mine, and hadn't asked for a replacement!

When I heard about the new 2020 bikes and found out that the newest controller included Ant+ connectivity, I got my LBS to ask Giant if the new controller could be fitted to a 2019 bike to get the Ant+ facility (even though it could not have the other new features due to not having the required 6 sensors).

They were told that it would work but they were expensive and they didn't yet know how much they would be.

Thanks Nicho. Will contact the bike shop I got it from and ask them to contact Giant. ?
