Replacement Stem - Cube Stereo Hybrid 2021

Hi guys. I’ve just replaced the standard 60mm stem for a shorter 40mm stem, for my shape and riding position, it is perfect!

However, it’s left a bit of a mess now at the headset. The headset top cover and spacer have a much bigger diameter, look pretty rubbish and are a bit loose. Has anyone else changed they’re stem and encountered this? If so how did you resolve it? I’ve attached a photo to try and show the problem..

I would replace the Cube "shaped" spacers with normal round ones.

Yo no quiero renunciar al cableado interno.
Yo he aprovechado para cambiar el headset inferior por uno de calidad y poner foam a los cables para evitar ruidos internos.
La direccion y los sonidos han mejorado mucho.



El paso siguiente será cambiar el headset superior manteniendo el adaptador para el tubo de la horquilla que es válido.

I will need to keep the internal Cable routing as the 2022 model doesn’t have frame entry points for the cables.

You should look for alternatives in other brands. Acros does not work well. And you should insulate the wires with foam sleeves.
