I'm fitting a new dropper lever and need to fit a new cable as the old one got stuck so had to remove it. Access to put a new cable in the housing is not so good and was hoping to remove the drive sider cover to get better access. Has anybody had any luck removing the drive side cover? I had got the right size Torx Plus bit but the bolts seem to be done up really tight. I don't want to over stress them as I read that the bolts can shear off.
