Rear shock recommendations

Looking to replace my rear shock (2018) struggling to find another 210x55 sized shock
has anyone used something other than the Rockshox Deluxe r ?

For my Jam2, size large, I have been trying to get a 210x55 DVO Topaz since September last year. The supply ship only arrives every two months. I missed the October one, nothing on the Dec, or Feb. Now waiting for the April arrival. There is nothing available in all the usual supply places across Europe.

I know the shock will fit without hitting anything. If I use a TEC pack, I will have to mount the shock upside down or move the TEC pack further up the downtube into the Sam2 position. If my order is still unmet after the April delivery, I will abandon thoughts of the Topaz and try to find something else

If so, have you moved the TEC pack upo the downtube, or have you mounted the shock upside down?​

No, although about to put together a DIY pack
Mounted with reservoir side up
Clears everything fine
Read the manual, lots of adjustments to play with
