Levo Gen 3 Rear Coil Shock/spring rate setups

Looking to start a coil shock spring thread to see what people are running. With all the different online spring calculators available I was getting suggestions from 350lbs to 500lbs…

Shock: marzocchi bomber cr 210x55
Rider Weight: 142lbs kitted
Spring brand: sprindex
Progressive/linear: progressive
Spring Weight: adjustable 380-430lbs

Cane Creek linear VALT 57mm/2.25 x 400 & 450lbs springs on the way. Will update with the final setup.

Given that you are 65 kg does seem that you'll want between 400 and 450 springs.

I'm about the same weight. EXT Arma shock. Started with 450 spring. Switched to 500 after bottoming out on a few drops. Sent shock to EXT for routine service and asked if there was any tweak they could do to offset the not-very-progressive Levo geometry. The EXT tech said he rode a Stumpy with similar geometry and suggested I go back to the 450 spring and add some compression damping. I've made the change, but I haven't ridden it yet for ... reasons.

I'm 215 lbs on an empty stomach and am going between 450lb and a 500lb spring (The bike shipped with a 350lb). The 500lb spring on initial run is perfect for everything except the CHUNK. It gets stiff and I feel like I'm on a bronco trying to throw me off. I've since upgraded my shock from a normal Rockshox Super Deluxe, to a Super Deluxe Ultimate (w/piggy back). The former had no adjustments but this new shock has four diffrent adjustments to fine tune the ride. Love it. I also understand or am told that it takes about 10 rides to break these springs in so I guess I'll have to be patient. We'll see.
