Hi guys, just bought this, and I’m loving it so far. There is a rattling noise when descending. Is it likely to be the battery cover that’s causing this?? Thanks in advance

Some Bosch motors such as this one as well as the EP8 on the Orbea Rise make this noise. It's normal. You'll get used to it.

Could well be the brake pads rattling in the caliper, too. Newer Shimano with finned pads are notorious for it.

The noise drives me nuts. I thought it was the shimano derailleur, then the battery cover, come to find out it was indeed the motor.
Sucks but we just have to live with it I suppose.

I'm happy to say that my Rise is completely free of any motor rattle but the junction cable rattles against the brake cable. As these cables move wrt each other I can't tie them together but a solution will be found.
