Another angle of Brage's drop - even by rampage standards this is insane

Is this the turning point that Rampage has evolved so much that its turned into a 50/50 make it, or break yourself event?

massive respect for the athletes taking part in this. its absolutely mental what they are achieving here.

Can’t help but feel Rampage should really be more of session type event with riders building their lines and throwing down on them over a few days - seems like with the stuff they are hitting now the pressure of putting it down on a live tv run when your line might not have been fully tested in time is super risky.

I long ago gave up on trying to make sense of the judging! What semenuk did was super impressive, but Zinks second run was super gnarly (and I usually think he gets over scored due to his history) and far more consequential IMO.

Such a shame Brage didn’t get to ride, some of the clips of his practice hits and the lines he was hitting where mindboggling.

semenuk could do some of it because of bike/fork choice. Feels odd to allow him to run something that allows more trick choice and score accordingly. There were harder to ride lines but the slopestyle element of it seems to be what scores highly.

In my opinion after watching all Rampage's for 20 years. It is now more of a slopestyle event.
Even those guys are riding so gnarly lines and drops. That's why, I prefer Hardline more.
