Question re handlebars

The standard 2019 Jam2 bars have zero rise and I am looking to fit some with 15-20mm rise and more backsweep. On looking I see the OE bars are drilled and there is a cable from the assistance levers running through the bars. Before I start pulling things apart is it fairly easy to remove this cable and reroute it externally along new bars?

Yep. Just unplug it at the display.

ALWAYS unplug by pulling on the connector. Never pull on the cable. Some needle nosed pliers will make it easier, or you could spring for the special tool. When re-inserting it'll click firmly into place.

I had disconnected the cable from the display but it would not pull through. I had to actually remove the bars before the cable would move. Once I had done that it came out easily.
