Quad Lock Vibration Dampener

I was thinking of getting a quad lock mount, but there's a thread about phone damage with the vibration dampener. But on their website it only lists it for motorcycle mounts, which look different than bicycle mounts. I messaged them but no response. I guess they don't have a US presence. I tried their chatbot (they advertise "live" support) and it said I needed the out front mount pro. But I see nothing called that on their site.

Anyone have a dampener and what did you mount it to? It seems like I could get a motorcycle handlebar mount, no?

P.S. Now I see the pro mount. Not reversible, seems like the motorcycle mount is better built and cheaper, diameter is 31.8mm for bicycle and 1.25" for motorcycle, which is I assume actually the same, especially give that most motorcycles are made overseas. Seems like all the heads would be the same though, so not sure why it wouldn't fit the regular bike mount.

Don't know what email address you used but I had to email them recently and it took 4 days to get a reply, however they did apologise for the delay.

I have used the standard QuadLock mount on my bikes for years now. My phone (iPhone) has never had an issue and its been though rough terrain and a lot of vibration. The only issue was in a major crash (broke my collerbone), the phone got damage because it hit a stump when the bike crashed through the trees. The phone was still attached to the mount though, great mounts!

I never actually got an email response, but was finally able to get through their chatbot to a real person who was very helpful. I told him to close the email ticket as well at that time.

Just wanted to clarify that my like of your post was for the comments about the mount, not your crash and broken collarbone! That does not sound fun at all.

So I ordered one last Monday night, and it's not scheduled to arrive until next Saturday; 12 day delivery. I'm 4 days away by normal carriers. Not too impressed.

What did they reply?

My android phone camera failed having been mounted on the bars in a non anti-vibration mount, so you're doing the right thing trying to save your phone.
